Falat-e-Iran Celestine and Copper Mine

  • Falat-e-Iran Mine area is a Celestine Ore deposit with identified exploration target of 2,500,000 tonnes Celestine mineralized formation with open boundaries and average 63% grade in 3 out of 8 targets. The project is in production stage with significant measured and probable reserve which a part of the reserve already reflected on production ce certificate. Company planned to do extensive explorations over the several target index based on the field investigation and Geological data to prove extra reserve likely over one million metric tons.
  • A campaign of 1000 m of trenching width 30 m and 10 m depth successfully completed in only 3 out of 8 targets. The trenching program confirmed the accuracy of the airborne geophysical work
  • The general interpretation of the various lithological and structural aspects of the Kuh-e-Rig property Infrastructures are included a long 45 KM access road , power transmission and temporary buildings
  • Product will be 94-95% celestine concentrate.
  • Extraction and mineral processing equipment are including:
  • Production will be 72,000 M Tonne of 90-92% celestine concentrate and 30,000 Metric Tons of Strontium Carbonate per year
  • production plan:
  • Average 10,000 Metric Tonne of Pre-concentrate per month
  • Average 100,000 Metric Tons of waste materials per Month

GEOLOGICAL SETTING AND MINERALISATION

The FALAT-E-IRAN area is characterized by a coarse-grained clastic marl sequence that includes conglomerate, sandstone, and evaporite sediments, with celestine as the primary host rock. Copper mineralization occurs mainly within the celestine layer, featuring DICOPPER CHLORIDE TRIHYDROXIDE (Cu2OH3Cl), and COPPER CHLORIDE(CuCl) as primary minerals, alongside villamaninite (Cu, Ni, Co, Fe)S2 as a secondary mineral. Secondary copper minerals such as malachite, azurite, and native copper appear in fractures, veins, and on ore surfaces due to the dissolution and redeposition of copper compounds. Copper grades up to 0.5% are found where celestine ore predominates; however, the mineralization shifts to sandstone towards the east. Lateral and vertical variations in celestine and copper content are observed across the region’s 65 km expanse, with intersecting copper-rich veins especially prominent in conglomerate layers in the eastern zone.
