Lead and zinc mineralization is found in the brown dolomite limestone strip that is wide throughout the area and can be seen for 300 meters. On the lead and zinc vein, many old work of over 50 wells and tunnels can be seen.

Lead mineralization in the Atahan region is generally in the form of lead sulfide (galena) and lead carbonate (creosote).

Zinc mineralization also generally includes the mineral smith zonite (zinc carbonate).
